You’re never too young to learn to love and follow God! CCC’s Youth Ministry aims to give the children and youth at Christ Community Church a chance to learn about God, learn how to live a Christian life during the stages of their life where everyone wants to be cool and a chance to be involved in ministry.

Fourth Sundays are all about the young people at CCC. They are given the chance to perform, give presentations, help with the offering, and other activities during service. In the past, the youth have done dance performances, participated in a Resurrection Sunday skit, and given Black History Month presentations. We also organize out of church events like go-carting, movie nights, and other fun events.

Youth and Children’s church is every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday. Class time usually includes opening prayer, a lesson and discussion, and an activity, game, or craft to highlight the scriptures and messages of the lesson, build teamwork skills, and to help bring some fun into time with the Lord. Younger children have access to Christian children's films and Bible-based activities for their age groups.

Past lesson topics include: How to study the Bible, Making time for God, Using gifts and talents for God, and Self-esteem.

Coming in November: Youth Night
Study Hall Program | Tuesdays at 6:30 PM beginning September 18th, 2018

The Study Hall Program at Christ Community Church is a free after-school community outreach program for youth ages 6 through 14. Children are invited to study at the church with other youth, while accompanied by their parents/guardians. At each study hall session, young people will learn one study skill or strategy to assist them in raising their academic achievement. The program is sponsored in partnership between Christ Community Church and Competitive Education Consulting.

The CEO/President of Competitive Educational Consulting is Dr. Pat Dingle. The Study Hall runs promptly from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Parents who need to arrive at 7:00 p.m. due to work schedules will be accommodated. However, the program will promptly start and end at the designated times to avoid interference with the participants’ regular school assignments.

If you would like to volunteer please get in touch via the contact page or leave us a message on Facebook. If you have questions, please email us at ccc.bowie@gmail.com
